Sasha Miljevich - Tunnel
In the process of designing the Monument for Sir Isaac Newton - TUNNEL - I have dealt with three concepts of Newton's researches: motion, light and color. I also took into consideration that the monument should be interactive and to give the students of the University Twente the opportunity to be involved in the process of making the artwork by getting involved in the technical aspect of it's production.Every person walking through the tunnel (in, or out) activates the sensors. Each sensor (at least three) activates light of different color (red, blue, green).
Each light wall produces colored light until the next sensor activates a next color. When several people are walking through the tunnel simultaneously, the sensors will activate several “color walls”.
